The tranquil atmosphere of this ryokan is complemented by its lush green garden, creating a peaceful retreat amidst the mountains of Yamashiro Hot Spring. the modern yet serene design of the common areas, with their sleek architecture and pleasant aroma, provide a soothing environment. the rooms, whether Western or Japanese style, are beautifully appointed and offer comfortable amenities, such as the fluffiest duvets and private onsen baths. the friendly and attentive staff, including English-speaking members, ensure personalized and warm service throughout your stay. the dining experience is exceptional, with a delectable kaiseki menu and stunning views from the restaurant.

While the ryokan offers a delightful dining experience and superb service, the narrow dinner and breakfast time slots may not be convenient for all guests.

I had a truly delightful stay at this hotel in the mountains of Yamashiro Hot Spring. The location surrounded by lush green foothills was absolutely breathtaking and provided a peaceful and serene atmosphere. The rooms with garden views were well-appointed and had comfortable western style beds, making it easy to unwind after a long day of exploring. The attention to detail in the basic amenities was impressive, and the staff's service was exceptional. The breakfast offered a delicious variety of dishes that were a perfect start to the day.

All was exceptional and exceeded my expectations.

The rooms were spacious and beautifully designed with a luxurious touch. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating, making the reservation process easy. The communal bath facilities were enjoyable and the private spa was a highlight. The dining experience was exceptional, with a variety of menu options and sake pairings. The attention to detail and personal touch from the staff made the stay memorable.

The initial impression of the hotel's minimalist design was a bit cold, but that feeling quickly disappeared as we experienced the warm and personal service from the staff. The location might be a bit remote for some, but the peaceful surroundings and greenery made up for it.
